Craig TatumFounderCraig brings more than a decade of experience with a Texas fly fishing outfitter to Covebourne. Those years shaped his appreciation for well-made goods, practical knowledge, and the relationships that grow around a shared interest in the outdoors.
Covebourne brings that experience home to Rockwall. Craig leads the selection of brands and goods, with an eye for craftsmanship, usefulness, and the stories worth sharing behind them. -
Cade SchraderCo-FounderCade is building Covebourne alongside Craig, with a shared commitment to family, the outdoors, and the Rockwall community. He is helping shape a shop where guests feel comfortable asking questions, finding something new, and coming back.

What is Covebourne?
Covebourne is a modern waterfront sporting club in Historic Downtown Rockwall. Our shop brings together apparel, footwear, outdoor gear, and everyday goods, with hospitality and a welcoming place to gather. Everyone is welcome to visit and shop.
Do I need a membership to visit or shop?
No. Everyone is welcome at Covebourne. Membership adds benefits such as member savings and invitations to member events.
Do I need outdoor experience?
No experience is required. Whether you’re choosing gear for a familiar pastime or trying something new, we’re glad to help you get started.
Where are you, and where should I park?
You’ll find us at 115 South Goliad Street, Suite 100, in Historic Downtown Rockwall. Free parking is available on surrounding streets and in public downtown lots. Please leave the lot directly behind the building for the neighboring businesses’ staff.
When do you open?
We open Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Regular hours will be Tuesday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. We’ll be closed Sunday and Monday except for special events.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome. You’ll also find our selection of goods for the dogs who share our adventures.
Can I buy anything online?
Not right now. Everything is in the room, which is also where it is easiest to tell you why we carry it. Covebourne's own goods are the first thing that will go online when the time comes.
Do you carry technical fly fishing equipment?
Technical fly fishing equipment is not part of our opening assortment. If you’re looking for a particular setup, ask us; we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.
Can I shop online?
At launch, our merchandise will be available in the shop. We plan to introduce the Covebourne Collection online first. Join our email list for availability updates. Founders Circle memberships are available to purchase through this website.
Do you offer classes, outings or trips?
Compass Experiences is taking shape, with plans for instruction, local outings, and hosted travel. Join our email list to hear when the first experiences are announced.
What is Founders Circle?
